A better view of the Washington Hawthorne. I am told this will flower in the spring and grow into a proper tree. It's been in this spot about a year and a half and hasn't been very happy but I think it is starting to enjoy the neighborhood.  Also recently planted into the area just after I took the photos, Louisiana Iris bulbs in front, in back, and beyond the mesquite.
