Five pines, accompanied by piles of dead sunflowers and bags of mulch and compost. The three int he middle are the oldest (planted in the spring of 2004), the end two the newest (having just been planted this winter). Starting nearest is a Japanese Black Pine, followed by two Afghan pines, and then two more Japanese Black Pines.
