Hasty was rather stirred up in these photos, which made it easy to get lots of shots of them running. With Roady just two days old, Hasty is still very protective. He'd wandered across the arena, within view of horses in the nearby barn. Hasty still doesn't like the idea of him "talking" to the other horses, so she got a little upset. With what was perhaps great mothering skill, she got him running around the arena (always a good parenting strategy to wear the little ones out when they are challenging you). July 31, 2003
