Looking towards the south end of our house (which needs painting) from the area near the oak and pistache trees. You can see "Bob" the mesquite on the left. We would like to put a two-room extension on the house covering the three white panels you see  and running off to about where the pallets rest -- but I don't know when we'll be able to afford it (our two kids, now in double digits, really need their own rooms though). There's our palomino Quarter Horse mare, Fancy, looking over the fence at us. The two pallets I built to hold hay are trying to keep her and Brandy from pushing over the chain link fence -- you can see by the bends that it's suffering.  This is the "feed area" for now -- until we can build something better. 20 January 2004.
